And looks around at stray bits of tinsel, people in tacky sweaters or equivalents, and the remains of the Troll celebration. Mostly antlers.

"I missed Christmas!?"

It's been forever since she's been here but Jessica Spider-Woman is happy for the break...that is until she discovers it's not really  a break as Bar wants her to run the happy hour. It's been a while since she's slung drinks but she thinks she can still manage so she accepts easily enough.

Hours ago Val had come down for breakfast only to find a note from her uncle instead. After reading the note, she ran back up to her room nearly in tears. Since then she's watched the DVD over and over and read the note many times. If you smell pie as you enter the bar this evening, it's not your imagination. One of the central tables is laden with pies. Pumpkin pies, pumpkin cheesecakes, sweet potato pies, apple pies, apple-caramel pies, cherry pies... so many different kinds!

And there's a familiar baker sitting nearby, and a little sign:

Enzo's disinclined to really celebrate his 14th unbirthday in the midst of a loukanicanthropic* crisis. It's just not a party atmosphere.

Still, he has hit six feet even, and Bar has given him a digital cupcake with a candle in it.
